Islam's Ongoing Savagery

Gaza 'Collaborators' Murdered by Maayana Miski, INN

At least eight people were murdered in Gaza on Sunday after escaping prison. The eight were killed for allegedly helping Israel fight terrorism by providing information on local terrorist groups. The incident was reported by one of Yediot Acharonot's Arab correspondents.

The incident began when Gaza's main prison, located near the village of Sariya, was destroyed in an IAF strike. Several prisoners managed to escape the damaged building, among them many who had been accused of cooperating with Israel or convicted and sentenced to death for “collaboration”.

Upon hearing of the airstrike, terrorists and relatives of terrorists killed by the IDF rushed to the prison and caught several of the escaping inmates. Those caught were immediately killed. One of the victims was identified as Jamal Randour, who was convicted of giving Israel information leading to the assassination of Abed Abu-Yusuf el-Kuku, head of the Salah el-Din brigades.

Fatah issued a statement on Monday holding Hamas responsible for the deaths of Fatah-affiliated prisoners. The group called on Hamas to allow Fatah-affiliated prisoners who escaped to remain free.

Wounded Warriors

I saw the commercial/video with Don Cherry for WoundedWarriors.ca tonight. Then I went to their website and learned about this noble effort to help our brave soldiers, sailors and pilots when they are injured. Their goal is to offer support and comfort in the critical phase of a soldier's life immediately after they leave the battlefield and until they are able to reintegrate into civilian society again.

The brave men and women who put a Canadian Forces uniform on deserve all the respect, honour, and support we can offer, and then some. What a great cause.

40th Canadian General Election Results

While Harper didn't achieve a majority, look at the results. He added 20 or so seats to the total from 2006, in spite of the US financial meltdown that the MSM and mouth breathing voters blamed Harper for.

The Liberals lost 25% of their seats, making Bob Rae's post election comments hilarious. He was calling the results a loss for the Conservatives, since they didn't get a majority. (Hmm. We lost a quarter of our MP's, but WE'RE NUMBER ONE!) Reminds me of the Black Knight in The Holy Grail when he keeps challenging Arthur, even after he's lost all his limbs. And watching Iggy and Rae lie when asked about Dion's performance was great too. These snakes are already mailing out their own leadership brochures.

The only other obvious thing I saw was how unrepentantly blind and out of touch Quebecers are. Rather than join the winning team, they decided to scurry like rats back to the liberals. The pundits all say it was the arts funding cuts and the "get tough on youth crime" initiatives by the Conservatives. It looks like the only place the Liberals actually gained votes. So it's official: Quebec is the teenager in the basement of Canadian politics, who can only be won over with cheap bribes and d0-overs.

Oh well. At least we know that the opposition is so divided they couldn't organize an orgy in a brothel, so Harper can continue to do the right things for Canada.

• The Green Party Is Still "Seatless In Canada".

Elizabeth May (Green leader One) was badly embarrassed in her attempt to embarrass the Conservatives by defeating a Conservative cabinet minister, Peter MacKay. She could have run against a lesser known opponent; this would have increased her odds of winning a seat. Obviously, she was more interested in her publicity stunt than getting into Parliament and having to explain her views in a serious way. She also disgraced herself by telling some supporters to vote for another party. So much for the feelings of the candidates who believed in her and ran serious campaigns!

If Dion wasn't fit to be PM (which he wasn't), she isn't/wasn't fit for a House page's job. See ya, Liz!

• Garth Turncoat lost! He ran in Halton as a self promoting blowhard/// I mean Conservative/// I mean Fiberal. So who's Garth? Thankfully, he was only a legend in his own mind and didn't have the national attention he craved. He spent time as a rabble rousing business editor (to get HIS name in the paper more often), then he got elected as a Conservative just before the Reform tidal wave hit (of which I'm proud to have been a part).

Most recently he got booted from the Conservatives for being a blabbermouth and showoff, then crossed the floor of the Commons where the standards are lower. Luckily for Halton, Lisa Raitt from the Toronto Port Authority stepped in and smote the Turncoat.

Tonight I read a very touching post at Canadian Heroes. It was the thoughts of a brave young man, about why he was proud of his country and what he was doing. Sadly, this young soldier was killed in action not long before he was to return to his home and family.

Liberals Rush to Defend Terrorists

According to a story publicized at Blazing Cat Fur, the Hurt Feelings industry in Canada has apparently had enough of the mean things being said about terrorists. It seems that one or more liberal crybabies objected to a slogan on a dead actors's picture that made a statement to said terrorists.

Looks fine to me.

From the same story, we learn that Scott Brison is an idiot:

"Liberal MP Scott Brison said such prejudiced and "xenophobic" comments are contrary to the values Canadian soldiers are trying to promote abroad and potentially injurious to troops in Afghanistan, where the vast majority of the population is Islamic.

According the aforementioned idiot, our troops aren't there to kill bad guys with rags on their heads. No, they're there to promote "values". God help us.

Bad Traffic— No one's fault?

One subject that polarizes people is the debate about reasons for and solutions to traffic congestion on our roads. It has become, in the hands of left wing planners, a weapon against freedom of movement.

On the one hand you have socialists like Toronto's Mayor David Miller, the Liberals, the NDP, most US democrats, the Chinese Communist Party, and so on who would like to ban private transportation. They'd prefer to see all of us being loaded onto buses and trains every day like cattle. On the other side you have the usual silent majority that can't or won't follow the farmer to the stun room so easily.

Traffic is bad because years ago the left wingers who dominate government at all levels got bored with mundane things like fixing roads, picking up trash, punishing criminals, etc. and developed a chronic case of "can't-mind-my-own-goddamn-business-itis", which has led to government f-ing around in our lives at an ever increasing rate.

Modern road planning is now an oxymoron. Roads aren't planned now, they are avoided. Planners, and the lefties that pick our pockets via taxes, wait until mile long traffic jams happen before they build or expand roads, instead of using the brains God gave them and fixing the roads first. No, wait— they have brains, just not the guts to actually use them properly.

The other traffic killer that dares not speak its name is the speeding fine fetish. I respect the police in every area except their obsession with radar and speed limits. It has become obvious to almost everyone that while the car chases and high-miler tickets get all the attention and enforcement time, accidents counts continue to rise. This is because our left-wing approach to government and traffic guarantees that dangerous but timid, incompetent, and antisocial drivers always pass unnoticed by the police, while leaving a wake of frustrated drivers behind them (usually in the left lane).

Instead of getting timid, dangerous, drivers off the road and the hell out of the passing lane, the police and politicians force all the rest of us to drive at these ignoramuses' level of ineptitude. The only other area that timid, slow drivers excel in is inconsideration of their fellow travellers. Thus we all daily see parades or trains of cars, following slow vehicles for miles rather than passing them, and following so closely that you can't fit a car in between. Some of these followers are just too timid to be safe on our roads and some are just browbeaten, afraid to pass because the next ticket will break the bank.

Thanks to government-funded propaganda that blames speeding for all accidents, we are all subject to the ill-considered whims and speed of the most incompetent driver in front of us.

Sports can suck too: Mats Sundin, former Hero

Here's a guy I thought was classy. Suffered through years of parsimony and neglect from the World's Worst Team Owners TM, aka the Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. I know he worked his butt off for the Leafs, but— time passes. It finally dawned on the "profits trump winning" bean counters in the Teachers syndicate that the team needed serious repairs. They start assessing their payroll, and discovered numerous bloated contracts, among them the captain's, which includes a no-trade clause.

So Mats had a choice: dig in his heels, or waive the no-trade clause. If he waived it he could thank Toronto for years of loyalty, knowing he'd be helping to rebuild the team. Then he could negotiate a trade to a potential cup winner. The bonus for his long-suffering fans would have been the draft choices his departure would have earned. He dug in his heels, mumbling about loyalty. Now he's considering offers from other teams anyway. So the end result is the same: he's gone, except Mats' way meant nothing in return for the fans who supported him all these years.

Thanks for the sour taste Mats. You're gazing at greener pastures but we're still living in uselessville.

Voters: unqualified decision makers

The biggest defect of democracy is that anyone can vote.

Sounds scary, but only if you think like a cow in a herd. In the working (non-government) world, no one pays for advice from unqualified people. We seek out experts, those who are familiar with our situation or problem. To do otherwise would be seen as misguided and ridiculous. Yet when it comes to assessing the country/province/state's situation, we let morons and the politically ignorant help make the decision. Why then not let our pets vote? If a person who knows nothing about the issues gets to make a decision about it, how does that make for good results?

If common sense finally trumped our "one caveman, one vote" approach, we would at the very least require that every voter could correctly answer some basic questions about the issues in their election.

If you know nothing about the issues, your vote is less than worthless, because you in your ignorance may vote for the worst candidate. Everyone knows that our politicians pander to ignorance; that's why governments tend to be far less helpful than they could be and far more intrusive and meddlesome than they ought to be.

You can criticize the authenticity of this Google page one hit. The fact is that the Iroquois and other Asians that got here before Europeans did were quite comfortable with killing their neighbours.

They have no claim to being without violent chapters in their history. For some reason, though, your average pundit in this field likes to portray Europeans as the first EVER to kill someone else.

Khurrum Awan: Anti Christ or just Anti Canada?

The story in today's National Post of this Khurrum Awan clown spewing threats toward me and my country got my anger button white hot.

How in God's name (not Allah's) do we tolerate this level of hate for Canada? Pretty ironic that a dickhead whining about his hurt feelings and using our imbecilic human wrongs commissions to do it, then turns around and threatens us! Are threats not a form of hate? Can someone please launch a complaint against this pathetic moron?

I think he's both anti Christianity and anti Canada (to add to his people's anti Semitism, now accepted as "OK" by the left wing media). He has done nothing in this free speech debate except to demonstrate exactly why these commissions are so dangerous. On top of everything else, he's so dimwitted he can't even figure out that he's in hole and digging himself in deeper every time he opens his stupid yapper. Every time this fruitcake speaks now, he reinforces why we distrust him and his people. Instead of being grateful to be in Canada and not the hellhole his parents came from he's biting the hands that feed him.

AND he has completely forgotten 9/11. I have NOT. His people still have WAY more atoning and apologizing to do for that, never mind shooting your mouth off like you own the country.

The Post story starts out "Muslims 'must demand'...". This is Awan's approach to his new country. Demand! How dare he threaten me. I will fight back in self defense, Awan.

The last part of the Post story quotes Awan as saying:

"It is the first time that the Muslim community has filed a complaint, and suddenly this is a big national issue," he said.

And that's where he'd be dead wrong. Muslims have been a national issue ever since they incinerated 3000 innocent people on 9/11. Time to stfu sock puppet.

Oil Speculators are a Serious Problem

It is finally dawning on even the dullest of the left wing media population that there is no actual connection between supply and demand as reflected in today's oil prices.

For years our economically illiterate left wing media has cheerfully regurgitated the lies proffered by so-called experts in the energy industry as to why gas happens to go up in price before increased demand even happens, such as before long weekends.

I blame speculators, as do an increasing number of honest observers. Speculators have perverted the concept of free markets in a never ending, leech-like attempt to profit from a basic necessity. The main reason for this is that they are allowed to control product prices without assuming the full risk. Our ridiculous commodities system (NYMEX being the worst example) allows them to control markets without actually buying and selling the product! I've heard that you (mooching brokerage houses) can control oil contracts for less than five percent of the actual value of the oil. What is up with this? Playing with the value of a basic human necessity? Why don't they mess with orange juice futures like this? Because we could do without and tell them to go f--k themselves, that's why.

I sincerely hope there is a special place in hell for these people.

Wait a second, you say— free markets are the best way to determine prices! Well, I agree- they are, when the market is truly free. But it isn't. The commodities market is an exclusive club of ultra huge trading funds that can make a profit (and do) on four decimal places. The worst part is that these moochers, who do not actually create wealth but live off the avails of others, think they are actually valuable. They'll brag about the way they increase shareholder value while their shareholders go bankrupt from the artificially high oil prices they have created.

Speculators do not produce wealth. They are a tax on wealth creation. Oil speculators are people who make their living by exploiting the demand for a basic necessity without having the balls to actually assume the risks of buying and selling the product.

The sooner we close this leech loophole the better. Make these freeloaders earn profits the honest way, by trading the product itself, not some Frankenstein-like bullshit facsimile.

Fear of Muslims is Justified

Right now Muslims are attempting to punish and censor free speech in Canada. This is just the latest in a decades-old trend whereby immigrants are encouraged, and by now feel free, to set up shop here and then begin to demand changes.

In British Columbia, Muslim lawyers from Ontario are currently trying to censure Maclean's magazine and by extension Mark Steyn for an article that suggested that Muslims will eventually outnumber us and that our culture as we now know it will not survive. They are using our own bleeding heart, white guilt, left wing laws to exact punishment on those Canadians who would dare offend Muslims. These ungrateful whiners are not satisfied to be welcomed into the greatest country in the world. No, they insist upon demanding that we not only accept their dim view of our heritage, but that we must also erode our laws of free speech to suit them.

They say Maclean's and Steyn have (or might have!) exposed them or someone to hate. They want free publishing rights and they want money. Well guess what, sock puppets— Your people, your fellow Muslims did this to you, not us. They gave you this bad reputation! Time for you people to admit that you have a lot of bad apples in your family tree. Certainly NOT time to come to my country and complain that I don't like your suicide bombers.

The world started hating you people when your people started blowing up innocent people to further your causes. In case you hadn't noticed, we non-Muslims don't appreciate your overblown, self important grievances!

Obama: What a mistake

I pay attention to US politics because as America goes, so do we, especially economically. If a US presidential candidate comes along who sees government as the best answer to every challenge a country faces, I worry. If they rely on nothing but vacuous platitudes and a smooth voice like Obama, I worry more.

Obama is the Democratic presidential candidate tonight because he's black. Not because he's the best choice, but because the craven Democratic power structure decided that a black nominee was the best bet to retake the White House. They fawned over female (Hillary) for a while, then decided that two Republican victories in a row meant bringing out the heavy artillery. What a plan— after all, if you criticize a black candidate now, you're automatically a racist. Their guy gets guaranteed immunity from criticism because of colour. One thing these tools forgot to think about though, was their manchurian candidate's choice of friends. I still think this will spoil their plans:

How can you go to church for twenty years and NOT know your pastor is a white hating lunatic?

How can you EVER make friends with someone who bombed your government?

How could anyone want the leader of their country to have friends like that?

First Communism, then Socialism, now Environmentalism

Over the last 25 years we've witnessed the philosophical defeat of two of history's three greatest modern scourges, communism and socialism. The third great scourge is environmentalism.

For a while after Ronald Reagan broke communism's backbone into fragments, it was calmer and safer in the world. For a time, all we had to think about regarding Russia was how various internal factions were carving the country up like some piece of meat, not which state they would next threaten, invade or starve.

Some still call the Chinese government communists, but they are really more like pragmatic parasites infecting ordinary people with their failed poisons. If they say "we hate France" on China's news (which they did recently) it's not unlike the Two Minute Hate from Orwell's 1984. They are like scientists that dole out permits and certificates as though they were vitamins, and all the recipients mere lab animals. Sad, very sad.

Socialism has proved a resilient foe to freedom and common sense. I think it's because it preys on everyone's inherent good nature and desire to help. But people have gradually begun to realize that no matter how much we care, or how much we give, socialists tell us it's not enough. The poverty industry has worked tirelessly, with the assistance of unionized, collective-thinking government bureaucrats to convince us that if we just give them more money, they'll solve all the problems we face. Right.

And now we have environmentalism. Not happy with communism's forced-labour approach to nirvana? Not pleased about socialism's alternative, forced-labour-via-punishing-taxes method? Well, we've got something that's sure to scratch your itch to give. Join the EnVIronmentaLISTS! They are the ONLY people who care about the earth, after all.

Not throwing trash out the car window was a good idea. Not pouring oil into the sewer was even better. But now we have an all out assault on our lives by socialists who claim all knowledge and concern for the earth against the onslaught of non believers like you and me. Now the air we exhale is toxic, and besides, there's too damn many humans anyway!

Environmentalism is socialism wrapped in sheeps' clothing. It is based on a never ending list of things that they want our governments to stop us from doing. Day in, day out, evilists dream up more things we can't do, and more ways for government to punish and tax us for what we're still allowed to do. Which brings us to the acme of socialism's guilty-by-living approach, Global Warming, or as the evilists sometimes say just to confuse things, Man-Made Climate Change. Environmentalism is biggest the threat to modern, free, democratic societies since the gulag. There is some hope, though. Ordinary people are beginning to smell the rat.

Ever since Michael Mann's hockey-stick graph was proven to be a lie the cat's been squirming out of the bag. Day after day they get another fact wrong and have to revise their "theories". If there was a hall of fame for the most times wrong by a philosophy, environmentalism and its evilists would win in a walk. The biggest challenge the rest of world has to face is how to expose the fact that first and foremost, environmentalism is all about is world income redistribution.

How do you spell wealth transfer? Here's three ways: "Kyoto Accord", "global warming", and "climate change". A gigantic transfer of wealth from the developed democracies to the rest of the world. Nothing more, nothing less, and they don't really care because the point for socialists is controlling lives.

Animals Controlling Humans

There are thousands of people earning money to worry about animals. Some causes are noble, like vets, sanctuaries and shelters, and others not so much. It's the others we need to cull.

The plain truth is that the "others" include those "humans" that seem to think some snail should be protected against the best interests of the humans in its territory. And now quite a few people are coming out and saying that not only does wildlife trump man every time, we are actually the problem. In their view, we are overburdening Earth by our very existence. It's shocking when you stop to think how far we've gone from God giving man dominion over animals.

The opinion that humans should reduce their numbers is gaining popularity in the generally atheist leftosphere. According to the now radical, soon mainstream left, we are actually an affront to Mother Earth that is despoiling the planet. So here's a tip:

Avoid groups with these words in their names and/or literature: animal, green, welfare, world, club, peace, people, or defense; they all have ulterior motives. They're after your wallet and your freedom, and they need to be shunned. God gave us dominion over the animals and as long as we treat animals humanely we are allowed to hunt them, trap them, raise them, and eat them. For those that can't deal with a "humans first" world view, I suggest a lobotomy.

Teachers vs the Public

I should be the last one to make fun of teachers. I loved school for the most part. The difference is that I remember teachers, not Teachers.

"Teachers" is of course the 600 lb gorilla of our provincial tax system, otherwise known as the pension plan for Ontario teachers. Partially funded by our taxes, it has morphed into a body that imagines itself to be some sort of grubsteak, pioneering capitalist, instead of the regulation-and-tax-supported protoplasm it has become.

Players??? Is dealing in the stock price of a business that provides one of the necessities of life now a sport, "played" by our teachers?

Our financial markets are messed up. They have been perverted from their original aims so long ago no one can even remember that stock markets were created to bring companies who needed money and companies who had money together. Now it's a global video game run by empty suits who have never created wealth, just learned how to use computers and the Internet to take advantage of temporary differences in market information. (They don't have as much luck getting rich on other commodities like pork bellies because we can substitute for them and tell the pinstripes to p*ss off.

These "players" that have overrun our financial system truly believe that it's ok to "play" with the values of goods that are necessities. Just for fun and profit. Which brings us back to the topic.

The Teachers pension plan has cooked up a leveraged buyout of our biggest phone company. I'm no fan of Bell, but we're talking about a taxpayer-subsidized financial juggernaut that wants to control our biggest phone company.

The same bunch that fights taxpayers tooth and nail about how WE want THEM to educate our kids, refusing to be measured by student grades on standardized tests.

The same bunch that owns the Leafs. How are their results in that department?

We want these people controlling our telephones???

1. To solve the defects in our mental health system, we need to end the state sponsored insanity of allowing those afflicted to reject proven, humane treatment. I have no idea where we should care for them but I do know that it wouldn't take me very long to fire enough government paper pushers to find the money for it.

2. Lawyering and politics is a conflict of interest. Sorry.

Continuing with our legal theme for a moment

A surgeon, an architect and a lawyer are having a heated barroom discussion concerning which of their professions is actually the oldest profession.

The surgeon says: "SURGERY is the oldest profession. God took a rib from Adam to create Eve and you can't go back further than that."

The architect says: "Hold on! In fact, God was the first architect when he created the world out of chaos in 7 days, and you can't go back any further than THAT!"

The lawyer puffs his cigar and says: "Gentlemen, Gentlemen...who do you think created the CHAOS??!!"

I think the above illustrates well the general attitude of pretty much everyone who ahhh, isn't a lawyer (or married to one). The legal system we've allowed to flourish and control our lives has made us all ridiculously and outrageously beholden to the law profession and it's chief weapons; unnatural rote memory skills and Type A+ argumentative personalities.

Definition of a lawyer: One who's learned how to pick flyshit out of pepper and get paid for it.

We have, over centuries, allowed ourselves to be cowed, and, ultimately governed by bitchy bookworms.

Lawyers make the worst politicians.

Sorry if you're a lawyer, but...

An airliner was having engine trouble, and the pilot instructed the cabin crew to have the passengers take their seats and get prepared for an emergency landing.

A few minutes later, the pilot asked the flight attendants if everyone was buckled in and ready.

"All set back here, Captain," came the reply, "except one lawyer who is still going around passing out business cards."

I did a Google search on "occupational jokes" tonight, May 20/08. The number two hit was Lawyer jokes. The number four hit was Lawyer jokes. One and three were the main web pages of the above, www.jokefile.co.uk and www.jokesandhumor.com.

Why are lawyers so popular in the field of jokes? Is it their warmth? Their undying pursuit of common sense justice? Their golf tournaments?

I think not. It is because no other occupation on earth has earned more money while attracting more anger than any other. Let's draw an historical analogy- in ancient times, only the "high mucky-mucks" like priests and scribes could read. They made up the rules, collected the taxes, and the rest of the illiterate mob submitted and sometimes suffered. Todays' lawyers are yesterday's high priests, without so much of the sacrificing stuff. The actual bloodletting has pretty much gone by the wayside, but financial bleeding still abounds. For example, how many of you are happy to pay thousands in fees to handle a will, or a home purchase, or to get their "permission" to start a business? Are we all happy with our lawyer-driven, liability laws that strangle our economy and lead to frivolous lawsuits like "not being told your coffee is hot"? How many of our freedoms get eroded each year with all our shiny new laws? The sad truth is that we are not paying attention and lawyers are happily filling the void.

Solution? We take back our lives by declaring that our politicians will not be lawyers.

It is a conflict of interest with society to get paid for making new laws that will inevitably create new work for the lawyers that follow you. We ALL know that the rule books get thicker every year, NOT thinner.

Rude Awakening

This is my first blog and second post. I've long enjoyed reading many blogs on a variety of topics, but never have I thought about writing one. I am going to wing it as far as legalese and hope that no one is insecure enough to sue me.

My first piece of wisdom is for Dalton McGuinty, the Premier of Ontario. Mr Premier, please, in the name of humanity, allow us to treat the mentally ill properly.

Recently my wife and I tried to get help for a loved one with a Form 2. Unfortunately for us, the attending psych doctor at St Joseph's (Toronto) decided that it was better to side with technicalities than to get our loved one help.

What was the technicality? Our loved one had not been treated for their problem successfully in the past. Oh yes, we have ample information on their mental and physical deterioration, and I even naively thought that the recent changes in this area (Brian's law) would help us, but the psych swatted these concerns aside like he would a housefly.

The psych's argument is that unless we (our benevolent government) treated this "unwilling-to-get-help" person before, we can't treat this "unwilling-to-get-help" person now. We must wait until they harm themselves or someone else. Nice choice, and a medical catch-22. We won't enforce medical treatment even for those that everyone knows need it.

Is it a better world when we allow people to end up on the streets, instead of getting them the treatment they need to live more fulfilling lives?
