For the benefit of future commenters here's the graphic explaining the actual sequence of events that prompted Europeans to launch a crusade to liberate the holy land from Islam.
Our freedoms and security, fought and died for by Canadians and their allies, are under attack. The biggest threats to our freedom are too much government, the eco-lobby, and censors posing as human rights commissions. Our biggest security threat is Islam.

Islam encourages the abuse and murder of women
Islam endorses and promotes the beating and murder of women. What, you say? It's the Religion of Peace®, you say? Hardly, you moralistic twit.
The cruel but fair truth is that years of multicultural claptrap from the left in our media and education systems has rendered millions of intelligent people unable to differentiate their asses from holes in the ground, at least when it comes to the ethics and morality of certain cultures. Thus we have stories appearing more and more frequently in the West about "nice, Moderate Muslims® somehow strangling and beheading their women, with nary a peep from the left and the main stream media.
If you do any reading at all you'll discover that from good old Mohammed on down, abuse and murder of women is in fact a cornerstone of Islam and and a belief of devout Muslims around the world.
The West needs to seriously Wake The Fuck Up, before we allow Muslims to make THEIR barbaric customs OUR way of life.
Pamela Geller at Atlas Shrugs catalogues some of the barbarity of Islam toward women here.

Islam's Ongoing Savagery
Is the face of Islam, the one that non-Muslims see, nothing more than never ending blood lust toward fellow humans? Even their own relatives? Savage behaviour that even wild animals would shun?
Here are two stories about Muslim violence. They describe Muslims assassinating prisoners- at a hospital and a prison. Both are worthy of comparison with the worst Nazi and Communist atrocities.

GAZA–At Shifa Hospital yesterday, armed Hamas militants in civilian clothes roved the halls. Asked their function, they said they were providing security. But there was internal bloodletting under way.
In the fourth floor orthopedic section, a woman in her late twenties asked a militant to let her see Saleh Hajoj, her 32-year-old husband. She was turned away and left the hospital. Fifteen minutes later, Hajoj was carried out of his room by young men pretending to transfer him to another hospital section. As he lay on the stretcher, he was shot in the left side of the head. A bit of brain emerged on the other side of his skull.
Hajoj, like five others who were killed at the hospital in this way in the previous 24 hours, was accused of collaboration with Israel. He had been in the central prison awaiting trial by Hamas judges, and when Israel destroyed the prison Sunday he and the others were transferred to the hospital. But their trials were short-circuited.
A crowd at the hospital showed no pity after the shooting, which was widely observed. A man in his thirties mocked a woman who expressed horror at the scene.
"This horrified you?" he shouted. "A collaborator that caused the death of many innocent and resistance fighters?"
Another man told her, "It was his brother who killed him to wipe away the shame from his family."

Gaza 'Collaborators' Murdered by Maayana Miski, INN
At least eight people were murdered in Gaza on Sunday after escaping prison. The eight were killed for allegedly helping Israel fight terrorism by providing information on local terrorist groups. The incident was reported by one of Yediot Acharonot's Arab correspondents.
The incident began when Gaza's main prison, located near the village of Sariya, was destroyed in an IAF strike. Several prisoners managed to escape the damaged building, among them many who had been accused of cooperating with Israel or convicted and sentenced to death for “collaboration”.
Upon hearing of the airstrike, terrorists and relatives of terrorists killed by the IDF rushed to the prison and caught several of the escaping inmates. Those caught were immediately killed. One of the victims was identified as Jamal Randour, who was convicted of giving Israel information leading to the assassination of Abed Abu-Yusuf el-Kuku, head of the Salah el-Din brigades.
Fatah issued a statement on Monday holding Hamas responsible for the deaths of Fatah-affiliated prisoners. The group called on Hamas to allow Fatah-affiliated prisoners who escaped to remain free.
