Music Rules

Music Rules is a blog to channel and record my interests in music† and anything music-themed. I love searching for and hearing new music and old music that's new to me.

There are hundreds of excellent but unknown young artists on various free download sites. I list some on the blog. Listen and and download what you like; what's not to like?

Thanks to a collection of rock music encyclopedias and guides, I've also learned there are hundreds of great older, unknown songs. I find hidden music gems, songs that for one reason or another never became well known but should have.

Music appreciation can be more than just an endless search for the next big act or top 40 list; there's lots of forgotten treasures and excellent but unknown new musicians.

Music can improve your mood and inspire your imagination.

Islam At Its Finest

The slogan of Front Page Mag is the title of this post, and it's true. If they aren't destroying us financially and pillaging our freedoms, they're ceaselessly searching for new ways to run our lives by dictating what we may or may not say or do.

This article draws similarities between the left's infatuation with the communists in Russia and their continued excuse-making for and defence of all the evils that Islam has launched against the rest of the world.

"The West is making many of the same mistakes with Islamism that it did with Communism. And it’s making them for the same reasons.

Islamic terrorism is excused on the same grounds that Communist terror was excused; as a response to our imperialistic foreign policy, as the outcry of the oppressed and an attempt to secure equality. Some atrocities are dismissed as myths, worries over terrorism are written off as fearmongering and terrorists are transformed into victims who were singled out by paranoid politicians for their political beliefs.

The left is using the same exact playbook on Islamic terrorism as it did on Communism."

Don't bite the hand that feeds you

A song from Australia that makes it crystal clear for Muslim immigrants that it's our sandbox and our rules, or please get lost.

I wish every Canadian could watch this.

Canada's left is leading us down the path of appeasement to Islam, just as did Europe, now wracked by Islamic terrorism. Europe's left appeased and made concessions, and all they did was to feed the radicals and make them stronger. This wilfully blind approach was and still is in spite the honour killings, the routine subjugation of women and genital mutilation of girls.* All of which so-called "moderate" Muslims condone via their silence. 

(*and not to mention the hacking off of heads, live burnings, gays being tossed off buildings, etc. To the left, these too are trivia.)

Meanwhile their schools in the west continue to preach that their hosts are infidels under our very noses.
