Our freedoms and security, fought and died for by Canadians and their allies, are under attack. The biggest threats to our freedom are too much government, the eco-lobby, and censors posing as human rights commissions. Our biggest security threat is Islam.

Proud to be Canadian thanks to Harper

The biggest political news lately is how Stephen Harper undressed Vladimir Putin at the G20 meeting over Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Harper dispensed with the usual political/diplomatic BS and told Putin to get out of Ukraine. No other leader has ever stood up to Putin like this, and I'm proud that Harper had the courage to do it.

"I guess I'll shake your hand, but I only have one thing to say to you: you need to get out of Ukraine."
- Stephen Harper to Vladimir Putin

Now let's see what the Liberals have to offer on this subject. Justin Trudeau says:

"His [Putin's] expansionist policies are not helpful"

Well, that's telling off the tyrant! And this is from the safety of a Canadian news studio. Russia invades Ukraine and "not helpful" is the best Trudeau can come up with.

Question:

Who is better equipped to confront tyrants and other national security threats like terrorism???

One on One with Grapes

Don Cherry talks to Brian Lilley about his new book, Straight Up And Personal. I've long considered Cherry to be one of this country's truest and proudest patriots.

In this clip he recalls his family's long military history serving Canada.

Remembrance Day 2014

The guns went silent to end the First World War on November 11, 1918, at 11:00 am.

We pause today to honour those who paid the ultimate price for us, those who survived, and those who stand ready to protect us today.

We must never forget nor hide our gratitude.
